I didn't feel like leaving and would come here again. The staff were helpful, the breakfast was good and everything was fine. The room was spotlessly clean and the amenities included an electric kettle, central heating, and a work desk. The bed was extremely comfy, a bath worked well. The location of the property was lovely and stunning, in a sporting event. Further, it was not far from the hillside, hiking and great hikes...

As a group of friends and trekkers, we had an amazing experience at a cozy hotel in the heart of the mountains. the hotel is located in a small yet picturesque village, with breathtaking views over the nearby mountains. We enjoyed a delicious meal at the restaurant, which even stayed open late after our night race. the hosts were incredibly friendly, providing excellent service and recommending great hikes such as Lake Lauvitel. Our room was clean and comfortable with a spectacular view of the mountains right outside the window. We also appreciated the breakfast that included muesli, yoghurt and the chance to cook our own boiled eggs.

The hotel may not be the most affordable option due to the cost of transport up the mountain.

I chose Auberge De La Foret specifically for its proximity to the Alpe d'Huez slopes, as I wanted to visit this famous landmark. The surprise multilingual staff and the cozy bar/lounge were wonderful additions to my stay. I enjoyed interacting with the staff and relaxing in the bar after a day of exploring.

This hotel had everything! Clean rooms and great facilities. The location was perfect, with beautiful views over the mountains from the small village. Parking was easy, and I was able to drive up to the hotel to unload. The staff were exceptional and always willing to help. The breakfast was delicious, and the restaurant had an excellent menu.
